I visited Zurich many years ago for a quick weekend getaway while I was living in Germany. I remember the city being very clean and seeing SO many men in business suits lol. I also remember the chocolate! I’d love to go back and explore some more though, because a weekend certainly isn’t enough. Climbing to the top of the towers at Grossmünster is something I didn’t get to do last time, so that would be the first thing I would do.

I had no idea Zurich had a big art scene! I always thought of it as more business-y, not the kind of place that you’d find over 100 galleries. Would love to check those out.

It does seem like a lot but I would get restless with 4 days in Zurich unless it was used as a base for day trips

Can you believe that we’ve never visited Zurich? We’re from Luxembourg and people often compare it to Switzerland. lol. Looking through your long list , we’d love to go there someday, especially to eat cheese fondue at Adler’s Swiss Chuchi! Stargazing at Urania Sternwarte and designing our own Swiss Army knife at Victorinox also sound awesome!

We were in Zurich this spring. And it rained almost the whole time. We saw so much less of this city than we had wanted to. I wish we had found the Thermalbad Spa. The lookout spots really were not an option for panoramic views when we visited. But we definitely did find lots of spots for great food, cheese and chocolate. I will keep this list for a return visit.
