There are so many national parks in Utah and I still haven’t seen them all, including Arches. It’s high on my bucket list though. I was surprised to learn they don’t provide many services in the Park; glad you warned me!

It is a very detailed and helpful article to plan the first trip to Arches National Park. I was there several times, and I love this park, as the arches are such a spectacular natural wonder. Great tips for travelers. I agree that it is worth being there early in the morning. Sunset over Delicate Arch is magical!

Many of the hikes to arches are short and would be great for a 7 year old. Especially the window area

This is helpful! We haven’t been to the Arches National Park so this will come handy for first time visitors like me. Thank you for giving us a heads up on the best time to visit. Will take your advice and visit on Spring instead.

I love regions with natural landscapes. The video of the drive is so inviting. It was good to know about the famous Delicate Arch. And am surely going to find this landscape in Thelma and Louise, looking for this now.

I surely have Arches National Park on my list already. It is one national park that I would like to spend a few days at. The sand dunes and the rock formations will absolutely be amazing to see and walk in between. I would also want to do a few hikes here and there in the national park if I can. I will keep in mind about the rattlesnakes.

We have visited Arches a couple of times, but we still didn’t make the Fiery Furnace. Tickets were sold out when we were there. The other thing that I want to do from your list is to attend the stargazing program. We were too tired from the day activities to go back to the park. Next time we can go slow so we can make the stargazing.

I was so disappointed that I was not able to visit Arches on recent trip to Utah. It is great to have a guide with so many great tips on visiting Arches for the first time and will come in handy when planning my return visit to Utah. Taking the 18-mile scenic drive would be a must, especially for visiting with my 7-year-old who doesn’t always like to hike. A sunrise, followed by a day of exploring the park and ending with catching a sunset at Delicate Arch sounds like the perfect day.

We were so glad we visited Arches National Park on our stay in Moab. But we squeezed a lot into a long afternoon visit and missed a lot of the great hikes. We surely should go back for sunset at Delicate Arch. A star gazing experience would be amazing in this open area. All great reasons to plan a return visit.
