    Hearst Castle is located 1600 feet above Californi Hearst Castle is located 1600 feet above California’s Pacific Coast Highway halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. It was once the summer home of media mogul William Randolph Hearst. Hearst Castle’s history is glamorous. The Enchanted Hill was a playground for Hollywood’s elite during the 1920s and 1930s.
