This really does look like a fairy tale town, I’m actually home for Christmas this year, I might have to sneak over and check out this town. I can imagine walking along the canals and taking in the unique architecture just transports you away into your own fairy tale 😀

I adore the half-timbered look. This is one reason why I enjoy looking at photos from the region so much.

Pedestrian only? That works for me. Sometimes cars and autos or motorbikes totally ruins the setting.

Just people walking through, quietly, enjoying the scenery, soaking up the calm, that makes the setting that much sweeter.
