Glacier national park has been on my list for a long time. Still I didn’t realise just how many waterfalls and lakes there were. This is amazing, I definitely need to have more time for my trip there.

I love that quote by Robin Williams, and tend to agree with him after seeing your photos. What an incredible park and love the fact that it has glacier-capped mountains, along with forests, lakes and 200 waterfalls! I would want to visit those riverbeds to see the mix of red, yellow, orange, and purple pebbles. Great find and recommendation.

Glacier National Park is certainly a destination out of the world. Certainly would be any travelers dream. With glacier-capped mountains, forests, lakes, valleys of wildflowers and waterfalls it sounds a dream destination for me. Add to that the animals and the activities like hiking, fishing and white water rafting sound so enticing. Wish we could make it there sometime.

I’ve read about a lot of national parks, but this one is by far my favorite. Grinnell Lake is visually appealing! It’s incredible how the colors of the glacier trees change over time – I’d love to see it someday. All of your tips have already been noted on mine; they are extremely helpful.

Glacier national park, I must mention that the name itself intrigued me and this is what convinced me to read it. I must tell you that you have laced out pretty good information needed for a visit here. The pictures are breathtaking and I just cannot wait to visit it

Rangers monitor it closely. Trails are closed after a bear sighting and not reopened until it’s safe.

I am pretty sure I will end up using your three day itinerary to the Glacier National Park. I like how you have collated all the things so well in direct pointers, which are crisp and one can go through them quickly. I would definitely checkout your recommendations when I visit. I am curious – why are there so few glaciers left. Is it just the global warming phenomenon? And over 700 lakes – no wonder so many are unnamed. I definitely am up for kayaking in one of them. Loved your helpful advice on the type of vehicles, where to book etc. Definitely needed for first timers.
