The gun fight show sounds fun. I try not to miss shows like this whenever I visited western atmosphere towns. It’s good to hear that visiting Goldfield Ghost Town ground is free, and I think it’s understandable you need to pay a fee for doing mining tour, zipline, etc. The prickly pear fudge sounds delish!

I love ghost towns and always try to see some on my road trips. I was also in Goldfield Ghost Town and I admit that it is an extremely interesting place. In addition, the architecture is very well preserved. It is definitely worth adding it to Arizona itinerary.

I love visiting the old mining towns. I have visited a few like Goldfield here in Australia and I have adored them. I have never visited Arizona till now but I am sure to visit this and Apache Trail when I am there. Thanks for this post.

Visiting Goldfield is definitely a unique and memorable experience. It looks really fun and exciting. I think my husband would enjoy watching the gun fight. We would definitely love to visit in the future. Thank you for sharing this.

This is so interesting! Have to send it to my friends in AZ so they can check it out. I love visiting places with an eerie feel & paranormal activity… but definitely just to visit and not to stay, LOL!

I’ve never visited a ghost town before, and always picture them to be part of the mining industry. It’s fascinating that before 1984, no settlement decided to return, now only tourism. I can see why T&L named it one of the coolest.

There are so many fun stops when you visit Arizona. I guess I should not be surprised to find a ghost town like Goldfield at the bottom of the Superstition Mountains! It is alway interesting to visit places like this and be taken back in time. Good to know there are other attractions nearby and that Groupons are often available. We would certainly check out the Dolly Steamboat tour.
