I didn’t know that it burned down from a lightning strike. I’m glad they recreated it so I get to enjoy it when I visit!

Heidelberg Castle looks stunning, I’m so amazed that buildings of it’s like still stand even though they date back to the 1200’s – so many wars have been fought in this region, it’s stunning it’s stood the test of time!

I’ve recently become a big fan of stair climbs so I would ditch the funicular and go the 315 to the top 😀
