I really love the kitchen. I’m not sure I would love putting my kids to bed and leaving the room though. It’s a nice bonus for people that are less paranoid than me.

I lived near to Bury St Edmunds and visited Ickworth House often. One of my favourite events they hosted was a classic car show. Everyone dressed according to the period of the cars they were driving. It was a sedate trip up the driveway, a turn in front of the house, then to an allocated parking space for everyone to admire the cars.

I’d go crazy for the downstairs tour too. Good for them for adding that thanks to Downton Abbey and Upstairs Downstairs shows, I imagine.
