Day Trip Itinerary for Innsbruck Austria
8:30 am Take the shuttle from Innsbruck Hbf to Swarovski Crystal World. Photograph the Giant and explore the Chambers of Wonder. Find your way through the maze or relax under a crystal cloud next to the reflecting pond. Take the 11:30 shuttle back to the old town, and exit at the Congress Street stop.
12:00 pm Have lunch in a café on Maria-Theresien-Straße. Wander the old town shopping for souvenirs. Be sure to photograph the Golden Roof and Triumphal Gateway.
2:00 pm Visit the Cathedral of St. James, Hofburg Imperial Palace, and Hofkirche Church. Do not miss the view of the Hofkirche statues from the terrace of the Hofburg Museum.
4:30 pm Take a ride up the mountain on the Nordkette Cable Car or go for a walk along the Inn River. Have a cocktail with a panoramic view at Bar 360 before making your way back to the train station.
