If I had extra time I would spend it in Salzburg. The city is great and there are a lot of day trip opportunities.

It truly is a great day trip destination. I stopped overnight traveling Salzburg to Munich but could have easily moved on without the stop.

It is perfect countryside town on Austria Alps to relax. Hofburg Palace was my favorite. Even I loved the colorful houses besides the river. Swaroski World truly amazed me too.
