Thanks for the introduction to a new wine region: Kansas City Wine Country. Is the region more known for white wines? I got the impression that they produce light crisp summer wines? But maybe this is just because of your summer pictures. The food of the TerraVox vineyards looks delicious!

I wouldn’t be particularly interested in a wine tour, yet I have stayed at the Belvoir Winery. It sure has a unique history. It even served as a children’s hospital at one time. And yes, I almost left when I learned it was haunted. I prayed all night that all supernatural occurrences would happen somewhere other than my room!

I must admit I would not think of Kansas City for wine country. Nor that Missouri was one of the leading wine regions in the U.S. We will definitely have to visit! Hubby would like that there are distilleries too. The Green Dirt Farm would be a draw for us cease we love sheep milk Feta.

Kansas City wine country, Missouri is an iconic place for wine and nature lovers to enjoy exotic wine. I had no idea it was the second largest wine producing state before prohibition and it saved the French wine industry from loss. The 100% sheep milk feta at Green Dirt farm is a must catch.The Belvoir winery, Terravox vineyards and Holiday distillery are fabulous wine tasting locations for tourists.I would love to visit them.

Fascinating, I had no idea that there were vineyards and spirits in the region and what a fantastic scoop on getting an AVA designation before Napa County. These wineries look fatnastic and would love to visit here and taste the different varietals some day.
