It is an amazing trip for any age range, though buggies and strollers are not always easy to get around.

Its beauty surprised me then as much as it does now. I only had time to hang out near Sintra, but didn’t even know about Quintada da Regaleira. I’m even more convinced that I need to return after reading this.

This palace is totally in my list now because, like you put it, it’s mystical (and it’s a UNESCO WHS!) I’d just read that the initiation well is linked to Tarot mysticism. So many things to explore and learn! Hopefully they would print better map soon!
