September! I was prepared to be in large crowds but didn’t have that experience anywhere. Not 100% true, Sistine Chapel was pretty crowded but not horrible

I just have to say that your photo of the Spanish Steps has the fewest number of people I’ve EVER seen on them. When were you there? I’d love to be there when there are so few people.

I was amazed just by the outside and took most of my photos there. I wished I had one of the before and after overlays when inside, I love those!

Pasta making class would be absolutely dreamy! I never even thought of doing something like that the last time I was in Rome, which was several years ago now. I really have to return to Rome – I love all of your suggestions!

A fabulous list! I love Rome, though even though we spent a full week I still didn’t feel it was enough! Nice to see the Colosseum at the very top of your list – even though it’s very touristy, I felt it was a highlight of our trip (would totally recommend doing a guided tour because you’re able to skip the huge queues this way!)

One of the things in my culinary bucket list is to taste cacio e Pepe un Rome. Aside from that would definitely do a little shopping and take in the views. Thanks for this detailed list!

Your list only proves that Rome is such an unique city with tons of things to see and do. I visited the city last September and was able to do some of the items on your list… but there are so many more to do!! I just have to go back again and again. Definitely try out the Angels and Demons Tour, as I’m a big fan of the book.
