Just few minutes ago I was reading post about New York and I wrote in the comment that the second city I would like to visit in USA is San Fransico, and here we go! I read already some about history and also about vines! Would like to see the bridge for my own eyes!

I’ve not visited yet Sherianne but my dad went to San Fran on business a few times some 30 years ago. He brought back a souvenir from each trip. Once I recalled it was a cool pen that was plastered with a Fisherman’s Wharf logo. Neat. He mentioned the insane grade on some hills, the bridge of course and how fun it was to stroll through Chinatown. One of the more special places in the USA, methinks.

Haight-Ashbury is my fav, I’m a classic rock girl and love walking around the homes imagining what it would have been like to live next door to Janis Joplin… or the Hells Angels!

One of my favorite cities in the US! And we’re not really big city fans, but San Fran stole my heart. My favorite highlight was actually walking across the Golden Gate bridge, and then down to the water on the other side. It was incredible to be so close to the iconic red steel – had to watch out for bikes though!

Wow. This is really a step-by-step guide to San Fran. I loved Haight-Ashbury and think the Lands’ End Labyrinth would be a funky addition to an afternoon there. I’d love to visit Napa as well, so I guess I’d need some extra time! Thanks for all the tips.
