This would keep me busy for a year. At least. My top two picks would be seeing the petroglyphs at La Cieneguilla and soaking in the hot springs at Ojo Caliente. Though a margarita sounds good, too. What a great place to visit.

Wow that is a lot of options. I hear the skiing is pretty good in New Mexico which definitely appeals but I could try a bunch of these too.

I’ve always been tempted by the art culture in Santa Fe, but haven’t actually made it there yet. I’d definitely be into the folk art museum. Plus anywhere where you can eat green chilis three meals a day is worth a trip in my book 🙂

The strong Spanish influence is very much evident in Santa Fe’s structures. Your list of things to do and see will come in handy for any type of visitor. I may consider doing the hot air balloon to have a good view of the town from the top.

Turquoise trail is several small towns between Santa Fe and Albuquerque that used to mine turquoise. Madrid was really cute. I bought most of my jewelry in Santa Fe’s old town.

I LOVE the Southwest, but I’ve never been to Santa Fe – which is unbelievable to me because it sounds like such a cool place! I wish I knew more about the turquoise trail. It sounds super intriguing since I LOVE turquoise! I’d LOVE to see the Georgia O’Keef Museum for sure too!

I love your pictures of Santa Fe – really evocative of the place I think. It’s such a comprehensive list, but I have to say Santa Fe Railyard Arts District Farmers Market really caught my eye – I love buying fresh produce at a local market, so I’d definitely go and buy chillis there!

Thanks for the detailed list! I had no perspective at all about New Mexico – and now I think its a vibrant and culturally rich place to visit. Those Petroglyphs look incredible and I’d be up for a food and history tour and top it off with a balloon ride over the badlands!
