A few of these may have crossed the line. V Sattui may officially be in Napa. I’m not going to Google it though because it is my favorite and I don’t want to remove it!

I actually visited Sonoma County long ago and remember visiting some wineries there. But it was so long back! I loved the experience- just the idea of taking the 3-hour estate tour and wine tasting at the Jordan Winery chateaux sounds like such an appealing weekend plan to a wine lover like me!

I’m fascinated by wineries because they speak so much about the virtue of patience and culture. Wow, a 100-year-old barn! What a classic experience to have wine tasting in there.

Sonoma is so much fun! I actually prefer these less known wine regions over Napa. They are less crowded and cheaper. Coppola is one of my favorites and I have definitely been to Ferrari-Carano as well. I always thought that V. Sattui is in Napa though. Do they have two locations? I do love their wines.

It’s interesting to know that Sonoma County wineries have 60,000 acres of vineyards. I’d love to see the original 1905 kilns at Landmark Vineyards and take a free cave tour at Alexander Valley Vineyards. Also, doing tasting in a 100-year-old barn at Belden Barns sounds like a great idea too.

I must admit that we have spent far more time in the wineries in Napa than Sonomo. But who won’t travel for more wineries? Enjoying time wine tasting with great views is an ideal vacation idea. A pedal trolley vineyard tour sounds like fun. Fun to try something a little different with port, sherry and grappa. But wine and chocolate pairings work for us chocoholics. Can’t wait to get back!

For someone who loves visiting winery and vineyards, the Sonoma County Wineries would definitely a destination for me. I love the whole atmosphere, it does reminds me of Yarra Valley here in Victoria, and I bet California will never disappoint. Thanks for teasing us with this travel destination!

I love wine tasting tours and Sonoma County seems to be a great place to try different wines. The biodynamic vineyard tram tour sounds like fun. I always prefer it when I do not have to drive to get to the wine tasting. Or back home afterwards.
