There were a lot of people but we went into the castle tour right on time and didn’t have to wait for lunch so it didn’t feel overwhelming

The city does look straight out of a fairytale! Frescoed buildings, red roofs and cobbled roads are indeed tell-tale signs of a city frozen in time!
Exploring the graphite mine sounds interesting. Ofcourse I wouldn’t miss the castle! I’m always fond of castles and so is my daughter. Riding a wooden raft in a river is an adventurous thing to do, I wouldn’t miss!

It was nice to have the city at night with so many of the day tourists gone. It was indeed a fairy tale spot to visit. We wish we had done a raft ride on the river. But we were too busy with touring the city and doing a few day trips.

Castles and cobblestone roads are totally out of a book. Trdelnik – I wonder how you pronounce that but whatever and however, I bet it is delicious. It does sound that way given the cinnamon ingredients. The place also, seems devoid of the usual boisterous crowds.

The photographs definitely shows us how beautiful the place is. And it definitely has a lot of interesting things to do there. I am not surprised that the place gets so many visitors every year. As for resident bears, do they really have bears as residents or are they domesticated bears?
