Great article! That&#039;s a lot of tips in one go... Travel safety is very close to my heart. I have done a lot of travelling in my life and you have ticked all the same boxes that I would have listed!  

The one piece of advice that I would change would be about the hotel&#039;s in-room safe... I have seen with my own eyes, after reporting a problem with the in-room safe, a hotel employee enter the room, take a picture off the wall and remove a key taped to the back of the picture and use it to open the safe!  In my opinion, those safes are only there to give the illusion of security.  I have experienced small amounts of cash going missing from these safes.  (I write the new amount contained in the envelope each time I take money out so I know)

I travel with a Pacsafe personal safe and a cable lock.  I also use hard side Samsonite luggage (with the safe inside) and I have never had a problem.]]></description>
