Consider purchasing skip-the-line tickets for popular attractions like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum to save time and avoid long queues. Additionally, familiarize yourself with the city’s public transportation system, as it is the most efficient way to get around Paris.
Are two days enough in Paris? No. France is a large country with much to explore and Paris is the best arrival and departure point. Consider this an introduction to Paris and plan to return to the city when you explore Normandy, Alsace, the Loire Valley, or Southern France.

When it comes to accommodation, there are numerous options to choose from. Whether you prefer luxurious hotels or cozy boutique apartments, Paris has something for everyone. Consider staying in central neighborhoods like Le Marais or Saint-Germain-des-Prés for easy access to major attractions and a vibrant atmosphere. I stayed at the Hotel Albert 1er Paris, a 7-minute walk from the Gare Du Nord train station. I chose the property based on location and price. It is next to the train and metro stations with many restaurants nearby.
Remember to check the weather forecast before your trip and pack accordingly. Paris can be unpredictable, so it’s always a good idea to have an umbrella and a light jacket on hand. Don’t forget to bring comfortable walking shoes, exploring Paris on foot is the best way to truly immerse yourself in its charm and beauty.
