My favourite thing to do there was wander around and “get lost” as many people say. Wandering down narrow alleyways – such a unique place! I also loved going to Murano and Burano for a day trip. So many wonderful memories!

We stayed on the grand canal close to the Rialto so I had easy landmarks to find my back… although there was one point I got very turned around!
