I love to taste the Red Port Chocolate-flavoured wine 🙂 It’s amazing how travel writers love wine and write about it. Wine and writing plus sunset is the perfect combination for me.

Loved learning the differences in port wines. I thought I knew a bit, but it is more common to only consume red or white in the states. Would love to try the tawny or vintage now for sure.

I do love port wine, or the version we used to get in South Africa before they weren’t allowed to use the name any longer. This is a great post to learn more about port. Now to figure out how to get my hands on a bottle from Vila Nova de Gaia Port Wine Cellars to enjoy next to an open fire in winter!

Wow I just learned a lot about port I had no idea about before – I didn’t know port had brandy in it or that there were different colours of port – seems like I need to go to Porto and educate myself!
