  1. A perfect Andalusian holiday must include Frigilana stop for sure . This village seems so so beautiful with picture perfect instagrammable frames . I can imagine myself enjoying wine and Tapas by overlooking the pretty looking lanes . I haven’t visited Spain but you gave me goals now ..Hike the Higueron River to waterfalls would definitely be on my list ..infact I rather would like to stay here than doing a day trip from Malaga .

  2. The place is so dreamy with those white washed cottages. There seems plenty to do here. The weekly markets is a good place to begin. Then there is the intriguing neolithic caves of the bats. I wonder what kind of fossils they have, I must google. Walking along the cobbled stoned pathways – I bet – will have me pose at various corners for photos. They look so picturesque. And yes, the chapels – unmissable.

  3. O wow…Frigiliana is such a pretty place. Would love to visit this someday. Never knew that Europe’s oldest sugar factory is in this picturesque village! Exploring the Neolithic caves sounds like an experience in itself.

  4. The first view that I got attracted me to Frigiliana. The blue sky,the narrow passages,the white houses with their red-tiled roofs and the overall feel is so beautiful. I could spend days together just photographing this lovely village.

  5. I loved Malaga and the whole Andalusia region of Spain but never knew about this pretty village. Frigiliana in Spain really looks like a pretty village as it is whitewashed village with full of narrow passages, stepped alleys, red-tiled roofs, window boxes full of flowers, and little azure doors in the hills of Andalusian. I would have taken hundreds of photos here and this village has won me over. Good to know that this region of Pueblos Blancos has 320 days of sunshine and also the views of the Mediterranean Sea and Chillar Valley, olive trees and vineyards. This village is really blessed with full of natural beauties . Thanks for sharing some offbeat location in Spain.

  7. Photographing the tiny blue doors is my kind of thing. I would love to add to my collection. Visit to Archaeological Museum sounds good. Whoa Visit to neolithic cave of the bats sounds so exciting. Such a wide variety of activities to do there.

  8. Now this does bring back memories. I remeber going to Frigiliana on a road trip in Andalusia way back in 2011 and I stopped at the village with the family for a few hours. I remember walking around, taking in lots of pretty places and buildings, and doing wonderful photography. I also remember a cafe there which served amazing food, I hope that is still open and the service is the same. Wished I remember what the name of the place was now. Would defo recommend anyone who loves white buildings and views to come here,

  10. I’m not familiar with Frigiliana. It does look a pretty place though. The streets look pretty typical for Andalusian towns. Andalusia is my favorite part of Spain but I’ve still got a lot of exploring to do and will make a mental note to try and visit Frigiliana in the future. I love the picture with all the white houses climbing the side of the hill.
