Honolulu Hawaii Street Art: Oahu Kakaako District
Honolulu Hawaii street art in the industrial district of Kakaako has become an outdoor museum thanks to the Pow Wow Festival. Pow Wow is an urban art collective that promotes culture, music, and art. International artists are invited to Honolulu to work alongside local artists for a week-long cultural festival every February. The murals created have rejuvenated the once-forgotten Kakaako District into an artist community and brought cafes, microbreweries, farmer’s markets, and monthly street fairs to the area. Honolulu is a place of insanely beautiful beaches, sunsets, waterfalls, and rainforests. If you’re craving a little bit of grit, check out the Kakaako street art on Auahi Street in Oahu Hawaii.
