You may go to Kobe Japan for an amazing steak you You may go to Kobe Japan for an amazing steak you can cut with your chopsticks, but stay for the Kobe Animal Kingdom! This zoo is located in and around a greenhouse with many of the animals wandering free. So many animals I had not seen before. My favorites were the Pallas’s cat, Binturong, Red Panda, Capybara, Fennec, Fishing Cat, Marmoset and the Lemurs. You can even feed a Capybara! Definitely worth a few hours of your time when you are in the area. #KobeAnimalKingdom

I have driven across California’s Mojave Desert I have driven across California’s Mojave Desert many times on my way to Las Vegas. It’s a horrible drive. I complain the whole time. At some point I will say: “I really want to check out Death Valley” and a discussion begins about how I can’t handle driving across the desert, why would I want to make the trip longer and there’s nothing in Death Valley ‘just more of this’. That usually ends the conversation. I was right, my friends were wrong.
