Mont Saint-Michel has been on my bucket list for a while, and walking the narrow streets up to the abbey is such a fun way to explore this medieval village. The whole village sits on a rocky tidal island, and when the tide comes in, water surrounds it and completely changes the view.

Park City is a walkable mountain town with a cute Main Street full of shops and art galleries, and there’s plenty to do year-round, from hiking, biking, horseback riding, and alpine coasters in summer to skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, and snowshoeing in winter. Not sure where to start? Park City Mountain is one of the largest ski resorts in the US, with easy access to Main Street.
