  1. We haven’t been to Bratisalva and after reading your post have realized that there is plenty to see and admire here. Going for a food tour, UFO sky walk, getting a selfie with Cumil, enjoying a cruise, tasting variety of wines will top our list of activities here.

  2. I love Slovakia and had been to the landlocked nation several times in the last few years. Your things to do in Bratislava guide is so comprehensive. Covers almost everything. Before I visited Bratislava taking a selfie with Čumil, the Man at Work sculpture, was super high on my travel list.

  3. I’ve been to Bratislava only once. It was on a day trip from Vienna – and honestly, I was not impressed. I expected some sort of Prague which it definitely isn’t. However, if I go again, I take your list with me to check sights off 😉

  6. Reading the list made me quite stressful (heh!) because I only did 5 out of 48 during my day trip into the city from Vienna. It was an unplanned trip when I woke up in the morning wondering where else I could go from Vienna for a day trip. And that’s how I ended up in Bratislava. Now I wish I could go back to revisit to stay there longer and maybe cover at least half of the list.

  7. Our visit to Bratislava was one of our most pleasant surprises in Central Europe. We found the food to be so good. And the statues all around the town were so fun. We definitely did take our selfies. We wish we had gone up in Michael’s Gate for a panoramic view. So much to see on a return visit.

  8. You had me at “cobblestoned medieval old town.” I love the idea of walking those streets and feeling the history around me, so you know that I would jump on that wine and food tour. The blue church, the Bratislava castle and the Primatial Palace would be at the top of my list, but I think at least one day would have to be spent sampling the cafes and visiting the galleries.

  9. Great list here. All I did was one day and one night and that involved a lot of walking, checking out the castle and getting drunk in a bar when the ice hockey was on (Slovakia vs Czechia). Fun times!
